Today I made a rhyme and this week we have been learning about nursery rhymes. This is my rhyme that I made. I think it is a good rhyme and lots of effort to make this. Do you think you can make a rhyme like this?
This term the year 5’s and 6’s did something called “The Matakite and the Mokai.” This is some of the work I did. I did Sentence Bilder, The Mana flow Chart, Visual Vocabulary Map and Eyes on Text.
Today my class did Crop Collage. I did dogs and puppies for my Collage but my friends did multiple things.
This term (term 3) the year 5’s and 6’s did novel studey. I’m a year 5 so we did kensukes kingdom and one of the chapter was called “Gibbons and ghost.”
We had to create a file thing gibbons or oranutans and I chose gibbons. I thought it was a bit boring and funny.
Did you know that gibbons eat leaves, flowers, fruit, insects and small animals. I thought was cool and stnuge. I also found out that gibbon have a pouch that can make a strunge sound and that is cool.

This term we are looking at Kensuke’s Kingdom novel study. In this link is Michael’s journey to all the difrient places he went to.
This week we read chapter 2 of Kensuke’s Kingdom. Michael and his mother, Father and dog sailed the world on the Peggy Sue. Kensuke’s Kingdom is a really good book and you should read it.
Today we used the EPRO8 kit to design a fishing rod. Our group did really well because we worked together and talked to each other. I am prod because it was a team effort to make the fishing rod.
